The innovative
system combines a hand-held, bar code scanning device with
a custom web-based database application. As participants
enter a meeting room, name badges are scanned with the
small, Pocket PC device. If an attendee is early or at
the wrong session, the scanning device will alert door monitors.
Conference attendees will quickly embrace the paperless system
for its simplicity, clarity and ease of use. The electronic
attendee tracking system results in efficient meeting planning,
on-site management and reporting.
