Lions Clubs International Convention
Minneapolis-based metroConnections, Inc. was awarded the contract to manage the transportation logistics, shuttle services, group tours and special events for the Lions Clubs International Convention that was held in Minneapolis and attracted more than 18,000 attendees. In addition, three kinds of custom group tours for convention attendees - Convention Week tours, DGE (District Governors-Elect) tours and Pre-Post tours were offered. Along with transportation, metroConnections’ Event Services team worked on many of the special events for the Lions Clubs’ attendees including a special Oktoberfest celebration on the Mississippi Riverfront and an awards banquet honoring their Everyday Heroes.
