Admin Support, Conference Services

We are seeking a candidate for the position of Admin Support within our Conference Services team.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering conference attendee questions via phone lines & emails
  • Edits/changes, data entry and quality control of online conference registrations, project dashboards and other conference documents/materials
  • Preparing reports for both internal & external use
  • Proofing & crosschecking reports and other documents
  • Design and production of conference name badges
  • Preparing on-site materials
  • Registration packet assembly
  • General administrative support to conference services team members
  • Shipping materials

Position Requirements/Qualifications include:

  • Ability to work independently & provide excellent customer service via email, on the phone and in-person
  • Willingness to take direction from multiple managers or team members, as well as having a good understanding of whom to advise/consult in the event of conflicting direction
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently, learn quickly and provide detailed work
  • Possess common sense, an appreciation for variety in the workplace, ability to think-on-your-feet, good communication skills and cheerful/positive attitude
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
