Registration Coordinator

We are seeking a candidate for the position of Registration Coordinator within the Conference Services Team

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overall Registration coordination for assigned programs
  • Hotel block/Housing and rooming list management
  • Edits/changes and quality control of online conference registrations
  • Preparing reports for both internal and external use
  • Positive and professional customer service with phone and email correspondence
  • Production and design of conference name badges
  • Preparing on-site materials/Registration packet assembly
  • Travel to program location to staff registration desk as needed
  • Payment processing and financial reporting for assigned programs

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Ability to work in a team environment as an active contributor
  • Willingness to take direction from multiple managers or team members, as well as having a good understanding of whom to advise/consult in the event of conflicting direction
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently, learn quickly and provide detailed work
  • A minimum of 1 year of registration, hotel guest service, customer service or other applicable experience
  • Possess common sense, an appreciation for variety in the workplace, ability to think-on-your-feet, good communication skills and cheerful/positive attitude

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience working in Certain, Cvent or other event registration platform
  • Understanding and passion for the Conference & Event Industry

Physical Requirements:

  • Up to 10% overnight travel – to support onsite program operations as needed, which may include nights and weekend work.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
